The services of Detection K-9 include contraband K-9 detection
for school districts, individuals and private industry. We feel our company is in a unique position to offer quality contraband detection services. We also train detection dogs and police handlers for law enforcement agencies.
The handlers we deploy for school and private industry receive the same training as the police handlers we train.
Our dogs are trained on-site by our Master trainer / Instructor, Janie Vawter.



All K-9 teams deployed by Detection K-9 are certified
through NNDDA (National Narcotic Detector Dog Association).
Many of our handlers are also Law Enforcement K-9 officers.

NOW HIRING: Experienced part-time K-9 handlers needed for schools and private industry work in the Wichita Falls and DFW areas. Dependable transportation is a must. Must have at least one year handling experience with good references. Prefer Law Enforcement or military K-9 experience. We welcome TCLEOSE certified peace officers wanting off duty work or military K-9 handlers wanting extra work. Non law enforcement must pass thorough background investigation, including state and FBI. No prior felony or Class A/B Misdemeanor convictions. Indoor accomodations for K-9 required. Area travel within 30-60 mile radius required with mileage reimbursement.
